(December 2009) Family of five

We are expecting again! Baby boy #3 is due May 29, 2010. Ashley and Paul are also expecting a boy two days before us. Alex and Ari are very excited!

(December 2009) Christina takes a job in Ghana

After living in Boulder for 6 months, Christina has accepted a job as a health program coordinator in Ghana. She leaves in a week and will be there for a year. We are so proud of her, yet so sad to see her go. The boys will miss her terribly!

(September 2009) Vacation to the NJ beach

We recently returned from a vacation to Brigantine NJ without the kids but with 13 other good friends. We had a great time in Atlantic City, Ocean City, and on the beach. Thank you Jimmy and Siobhan for the idea and for hosting us all. See pictures under the Trips album.

(August 2009) Birthday girl is 30

We celebrated Sophia's 30th birthday with a short vacation to Vail. The boys stayed with Yaya and Grandpa while Sophia and Josh hiked, hot tubbed, and ate at many delicious restaurants. What a fun way to turn 30! See pictures under the 2009 Parties and Celebration album.

(June 2009) Sister update

Both our sisters have moved! Christina has finished grad school in Australia and is back in Boulder for the summer and Ashley and family have left Texas for Florida.

(April 2009) Cousins visit

It has been so long since we've had anything news worthy. I thought I'd share that the boys' Aunt Ashley and cousins Carter and Peyton were recently in town visiting. They stayed for two whole weeks and you can see all sorts of fun pictures under the Parties and Celebrations 2009 album.

(October 2008) We have moved

We are finally living in our new home. We closed October 17. We are currently the only people living on our block (many of the homes around us are still being built) but by the end of October, we should have two new neighbors. We love the new kitchen, having a fireplace, the pocket park, and being back in the neighborhood close to all our friends. Alex says he loves his new playroom and having his toys out of storage the most. He's also really enjoys seeing the houses around us being built. It certainly is fun to get to watch excavators and cement trucks from your bedroom window.

(July 2008) Sold!

Our first home has sold. We are sad to leave it. Since our new home won't be ready until October, we will be living with Sophia's parents until then. Wish us luck!

(June 2008) It's another girl!

So many of our friends and family have been having girls lately. Our neighbors and good friends Anna and Michael just welcomed Cameron Anson on June 2. She was 10 days early and weighed 6 lbs 14 oz. Anna's water broke after having brunch with us, so I'm certain after hearing cute little Ari, Cameron decided to come early to play with him! Look for pictures of her under Ari's Friends album. Congrats to the new parents!!!

(June 2008) We just returned from Greece

We must be crazy. With the dollar doing so poorly to the euro ($1.68/1 e) and with two young kids in tow, we braved 20+ hours of travel and took the boys to Greece to visit family and vacation. We spent half of the 2.5 week trip in Athens seeing Sophia's grandparents and great aunt (who is sick with cancer), and then the other half in a villa on the southwestern coast of Peloponnese. It was gorgeous and not very touristy at all. Look under the Trips album for tons of pictures.
